Antiaircraft Missile Systems
THE TOR-M2E AIR DEFENSE MISSILE SYSTEM
The Tor-M2E air defense missile system is a new generation of the world-known short-range Tor-type combat means.
In comparison with the Tor-M1 ADMS the new system has expanded killing zone in altitude and course parameter, increased fire efficiency and high capability of repulsing the massed air raids of modern threats under conditions of fire and radio-electronic countermeasures.
Tests of Tor-M2E have proved the system’s ability to hit a wide spectrum of targets: aircraft, helicopters, aerodynamic drones, guided missiles and other HPW.
Two versions of the new system have been designed: on tracked and wheeled chassis. The wheeled chassis of the combat vehicle ensures high travel speed making the system attractive for the countries with the advanced highway network.
The combination of performance characteristics makes the Tor-M2E system superior to all modern systems of the same class.
THE TOR-M1 AIR DEFENSE MISSILE SYSTEM

The Tor-M1 air defense missile system is an independent all-weather short-range system designed by the Moscow Scientific-Research Electromechanical Institute to ensure reliable protection against up-to-date and future air attack means. The Tor-M1 ADM system is capable of hitting various types of high precision weapon (HPW) in complicated air and jamming situation.
The Tor-M1 system combines unique engineering solutions and high production technologies: vertical missile launch, detection capability of up to 48 targets, selection of 10 most dangerous targets and simultaneous destruction of 2 of them, high level of automation and unique algorithms of combat operation.
Thanks to the high potential Tor-M1 fully meets the demands made for short range air defense missile systems.
THE OSA-AKM AIR DEFENSE MISSILE SYSTEM
The Osa-AKM ADM system intended for protection of troops on march and ground-based key assets had been produced serially until 1990.
The combat vehicle of the all-weather air defense missile system OSA-AKM is an independent mobile tactical combat unit capable of detecting air targets on march, their automatic tracking and destruction at short halt.
High maneuverability and cross-country ability, sufficient fire power and high destruction probability of the targets flying within a wide range of velocity and altitude allow combat vehicle to successfully fulfill its tactical missions.
Technical solutions implemented in the Osa-AKM ADMS appeared to be so fortunate that even today this system is competitive with the best foreign analogs and still in the demand on the world weapon market.
Till now the Osa-AKM ADM system and its modifications are in service with the armies of Algeria, Angola, Greece, India, Jordan, Iraq, Cuba, Kuwait, Libya, Poland, Syria, Czechia. In combat the system has proved its outstanding fire power and high noise immunity.
